Vision, mission and objectives of the Sharia Department
Vision

The Department of Sharia seeks to highlight Islamic jurisprudence in a way that combines originality and modernity, with an emphasis on knowing the origins of rulings and their importance in understanding texts, in addition to knowledge of instrumental sciences through which the student understands the Noble Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah.

The message/tasks

Among the tasks of the Sharia Department are:

Graduating qualified students specialized in jurisprudence and its principles
Statement of the relationship between Sharia and law, through the legal curricula taught in the department.
Training students to know the principles of scientific research in jurisprudence and its foundations in a sober manner.
Objectives

Preparing a specialized generation capable of carrying the scientific secretariat and advocacy by preparing the students of the department to be a legitimate jurist or fundamentalist.
Improving the reality of the curricula established in the college in a college with various jurisprudence, fundamentalism, hadith and Quranic disciplines to suit the requirements and developments of the times.
Upgrading the scientific level of the department’s teaching staff through the work of contemporary scientific research and finding solutions to the problems of modern society for teaching the department and participating in seminars and lectures for each teaching staff by following up the department on this matter.
Preparing teachers specialized in teaching Islamic education to support the education directorates in the governorate in this aspect.
